What can I learn from you?

My name is Diana and I have been doing makeup for 16 years, my whole adult life. I have been through every stage you are going through now.

I started by doing my friends' makeup and I have grown to be invited to Miss England, to London Fashion Week and to private themed parties as Head Makeup Artist, where I create looks based on the concept and theme of the event. I have had the pleasure of doing makeup for thousands of women and I have met every skin type, colour, shape, personality and culture you can imagine. Even after so many years I learn new techniques daily, I test products, tools and application methods.

Of course, these days any piece of information is within everyone's reach. How many times have you followed a tutorial, bought the products, done everything step by step and the result was not what you expected? At my self-makeup course in Bacău I answer your questions clearly and in a way you understand, with cues, so you can remember the steps anytime. What products do you use?

I constantly test new products and I know what works for whom. The products used at the course are exactly those from my makeup artist kit, the ones I rely on daily. I do not represent any brand, so I do not recommend products for my own gain. You can expect to discover everything from the most affordable products to the most expensive.

On top of that, I recommend alternatives and I teach you to correctly use the products you already own, for a better result. A secret: often the way you apply matters more than the product itself, both for how it looks on the skin and for longevity. I work with brands such as YSL, Hourglass, Lancôme, Huda Beauty, Natasha Denona, Pat McGrath, MAC, Make Up For Ever, Nars, Rare Beauty, Fenty, Makeup by Mario and Charlotte Tilbury.

What does the self-makeup course involve?

I like things simple and clear. It is a one-to-one course lasting 4 hours, enough to absorb all the information without getting tired. It is known that we only retain around 20% of what we learn, so at the end you leave with step-by-step photos and with the products used and recommended noted on a visual support, so you have everything you need for a complete makeup look.

In the first part you learn a day look adapted to your features. In the second part you find out how to refresh the makeup after a day of wear and how to turn it into an evening look that looks freshly applied and lasts with no trouble. I do makeup on one half of the face, you follow every step, then you do the other half yourself.

How do I apply my eyeliner?

The biggest dilemma for my clients. What is the problem, really? A straight line, with a little help, anyone can draw. And yet, why does the eyeliner not look good?

Because we are not drawing on paper. Any straight line drawn on the face from your perspective will appear curved from another angle. On top of that, most women have a slightly hooded lid, either from the shape of the eye or from age. The good news is that there is a suitable eyeliner line for everyone, and I show you exactly how.
